When I’m working on tones, whether it’s in the studio, on stage, or while creating my Kemper profiles, the one thing I absolutely need is consistency. That’s exactly why I use strings from Curt Mangan.

Curt Mangan strings have the feel, stability, and tone that professional players rely on. When you’re capturing tones as precisely as I do, every detail matters and the strings are a huge part of that.

Because of that, I worked with Curt Mangan to put together my own preferred string set; the Bert Meulendijk set. This set is based on the gauges and feel I personally use on my guitars 09 – 46 gauge. It gives you a great balance between playability, tension, and tone, allowing the guitar to respond naturally while still feeling comfortable under the fingers.
