The Engl E520 is a three-channel rackmount preamp with a tight, controlled high-gain voicing rooted in 80s German amp design — sitting somewhere between a hot-rodded Marshall and a Soldano SLO, but more precise and more aggressive than either.
BM E52.0 focuses on the Rhythm and Lead channel of the 520, captured in full including all four switchable voicing options on each side, giving you the core of the preamp’s tonal range in Kemper 2.0 format.
